Wiley Kenneth Williams

Magnolia - Wiley Kenneth Williams, 82, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Mr. Williams was born October 29, 1939 in Duplin County, NC to the late Wiley Williams and Maggie Elizabeth Whitman Williams.

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 20,2022 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00pm.

Mr. Williams worked 28 years on base at Camp Lejeune starting in maintenance and ultimately retiring as a building inspector. He was a humble, conservative man, loved pots and pans and loved to cook. He was exceptionally musically inclined and could play many instruments. He had a great love for Mt. Airy and debated moving there one day. His greatest loves were golfing, youtube, and his computer. He was an avid golfer, with 5 hole-in-ones.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Judy M. Williams; daughters, Donna Wagnon and husband, Jack of Wallace, Tracy Bradshaw and husband, Steve of Magnolia, Gina Baker of Oklahoma; step sons, Mike Parkhurst and Shannon of Jacksonville, and Doug Parkhurst and wife, Lisa of Connecticut; step daughter, Helen Parker; brother, James Douglas Williams of Magnolia; sister, Linda Singletary of Rose Hill; grandchildren, Alyssa DeLuca and husband, Shane, Alex Parker, Allen Reeves and wife, Allyson, Sarah Wagnon, Megan Baker, Cory Alexander, Erick Alexander, Ty Baker, Jacob Bradshaw, Eli Wagnon, Tyler Bradshaw, and Maggie Wagnon; great grandchildren, Sebastian Quinn, Scarlett DeLuca, Syris DeLuca and Mattie Wray Reaves and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by brothers, John Williams, George Perry "Tic" Williams, Billy Bryan "Joe" Williams, Barney Carlton "Buck" Williams, and Randy Williams, and his loving four-legged friend, Annie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Duplin County Animal Shelter.

Judy, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. It goes without saying that we all have someone with a special place in our hearts. You have lost that special someone but please know he will always hold that special place in yours. May God and good friends help give you the peace to get through this.
