Warsaw-James Boyd Merritt of Warsaw passed away, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville. Mr. Merritt was born, March 3, 1931 in Duplin County to the late Ralph DeLeon Merritt and Lila Mae Spell Merritt. A funeral service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw. Entombment will follow at Devotional Gardens. Mr. Merritt is survived by his wife, Jeannette P. Merritt of Warsaw; son, James Boyd Merritt, II of Warsaw; daughter, Terri Merritt of Winston Salem; grandchildren, Zhana Merritt and Caden Merritt.

Faison - Linda DeLuca Taylor, 75, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Mrs. Taylor was born January 14, 1943 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Milton Deluca and Louise Hatch DeLuca.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by children, Pam Beach and husband, Trent of Tennessee, David Batts and wife, Tammy of Warsaw, and Kristy Brinson of Faison; ten grandchildren, Celeste Beach, Candace Beach, Trent Beach, Jr., Zach Beach, Corey Batts, Dalton Batts, Ashley Parker, Taylor Brinson, Amy Townsend, and Josh Lasiter and one great granddaughter, Jovi Jeffress. She is also survived by sister, Karen P. Archer and husband, Jerry of South Carolina. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by husband, Sam Taylor; brothers, Milton Charles DeLuca and Steven Eric DeLuca. Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw, Inc. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in Community Funeral Home Chapel.
