Paul Alan Rackley, 54, of Warsaw passed away August 25, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Mr. Rackley was born in Cook County, Illinois, December 12, 1966 to the late James Ransom Rackley and Dorothy Elizabeth Brock Rackley.
Mr. Rackley is survived by brother, Joseph Rackley and wife, Reitha of Warsaw, sisters, Janette Silva of Warsaw and Debra (Tina) Baines and husband, Randy of Faison; nieces and nephews, Rachel Rackley, Elizabeth Rackley, Jasmine Baines and Logan Baines. As per his request no services are planned.

Hubert Philip "Jack" Hill, 79, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 in UNC Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, NC. Mr. Hill was born November 27, 1941 in Duplin County, NC to the late John D. and Elvia Waters Hill.
A funeral service will be held 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 30, 2021 at Warsaw Baptist Church, with visitation to follow the service. An entombment service will be held 10:00 a. m., Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Devotional Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Mr. Hill is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Smith Hill of the home; son, Phil Hill and wife, Michele of Warsaw; two daughters, Karen Barbee and husband, Dean of Albemarle and Jackie Brickhouse and husband, Thomas of Mount Olive; six grandchildren, Courtney Vial and husband, Robert; Brad Hill and wife, Jo, Jessica Dunn and husband, Nick, Kelsie Hatley and husband, Adam, Copeland Brickhouse; five great grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Rommie Hill and wife, Edith, John Hill and wife, Betsy, Herman Hill and wife, Kathy all of Mount Olive. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by an infant sister, and grandson, Hunter Brickhouse. ![]() Ruby Harrison Blackburn, 90, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC. Mrs. Blackburn was born March 20, 1931 in Duplin County, NC to the late Jesse Willard and Mattie Davis Miller Harrison. Box 422, Warsaw, NC 28398. Donald Cobb Kornegay, 79, of Kenansville passed away August 7, 2021 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. Donald was born in Duplin County October 26, 1941 to the late Bernice Kornegay and Myrtle Jernigan Kornegay.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 20, 2021, at Devotional Gardens. Mr. Kornegay is survived by daughter, Tonya K. Bostic of Kenansville; brother, C. B. Kornegay and wife, Margaret of Mt. Olive; grandchildren, Kyle Bostic of Raleigh, and Daniel Bostic and wife, Stephanie of Wilmington; great grandson, Luke Bostic of Willmington. King and Sally Kornegay Roberts. ![]() Victor Luciano Camacho, Jr., 57, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, August 12, 2021 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC. Victor was born June 24, 1964 in New York City, NY to Victor L. Camacho and the late Angelina Calzada Camacho. As a young child, Victor attended catholic school, where he met the love of his life, Terryce at the age of 12. He graduated in 1982 from Edison High School. He went onto to join the Navy, proudly serving his country the next four years, as a communications technician. He earned a bronze star during his service. One of Victor's first jobs was working in a Pet Store in Edgemont, NY. In 1986, he started what would become a lifelong career in pest control. Victor was accredited with NC Pest Association and also held a pest control licenses in Puerto Rico. He spent 25 years as a Supervisor with Murray Exterminating Company, Inc. Victor was a very social person, never meeting a stranger but is probably best known as the "Murray Man" seen during parades and expo events around the county. Victor took great pride in his job and thrived on learning and educating others about animals and bugs, with a collection of specimens at home for show and tell. In addition to his work Victor had numerous other hobbies including: photography and collecting Marvel comics. He also became certified as an open water diver in September 2005. Victor's faith grew from an early age. He served as an alter boy in the catholic church he grew up in and became an ordained minister in 2011. He officiated a vow renewal for his parents in 2011 and officiated the wedding of Ashley Rezk, daughter of his secretary, in June 2019. Victor is survived by his loving wife of nearly 37 years, Terryce Vega Camacho; son, Ray Camacho and wife, Kumi; daughter, Victoria Camacho; soon to arrive granddaughter, Hana Naomi Camacho; brother, Eddie Camacho; sister, Alice C. Bland and husband, Keith; nephews and nieces, Frankie Camacho, Brandon Camacho, Amber Camacho, Matthew Bland, Alexis Beall; brother-in-law Jose Ramos and wife, Melissa and their son, Gevan Ramos. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 in Community Funeral Home Chapel, Warsaw, NC, with visitation following the service. Attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice good social distancing. Mrs. Matthews was born Sept 28, 1926 in Duplin County, NC to the late Samuel Etheridge and Essie Mae Newman Pope. Mrs. Matthews is survived by daughters, Jean M. Hughes of Warsaw, Dorothy M. Williams of Kenansville, Deborah M. Lanier of Chinquapin, Sandra M. Brinson of Chinquapin and Connie M. Thornburg of Magnolia; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Matthews was preceded in death by husband, Rudolph Matthews and great grandson, Thomas Wright Lanier.
