Ruth Bishop Houston

Kenansville-Ruth Bishop Houston, 90, of Kenansville passed away December 21, 2020 at Autumn Village of Beulaville. Mrs. Houston was born in Duplin County September 20, 1930 to the late Herman Bishop and Julie Rhodes Bishop.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Devotional Gardens of Warsaw.
Mrs. Houston is survived by son, Mike Houston of Kenansville; daughter, Rhonda H. Owen and husband, Billy of Benson; grandchildren, Brittany Gettys and husband, Jordan, Chance Houston and Shalon Roberson and husband, Addam; great grandchildren, Emery Gettys, Nora Gettys Owen Roberson, Taylor Roberson and Bogdan Roberson; brother, Ray Bishop of Mt. Olive; sister Rose Brock of Smithfield;​

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Houston was preceded in death by husband, Oscar Alois Houston; brothers, Hubert, Haylon, Hilburn and Chancy Bishop; sisters Atlaleen Jones, Doris Carroll and Marie Andrews.
