Rodney Dino Fussell

Teachey - Rodney Dino Fussell, 67 passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 in ECU Health Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC.  Mr. Fussell was born February 13, 1956 in Duplin County, NC to the late Gerald and Doris Hollingsworth Fussell.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Corinth Baptist Church.

Dino, as he was known, by his family and friends, was a no frills, down to earth man.  He was a carpenter by trade and took great pride in his work.  His work had to be done right and he wouldn't quit till it was. Dino could fix almost anything.  Even as a young boy, he would tear something apart and put it back together, just because he was curious.  

Dino loved music of all kinds, but especially the 60's, 70's, and 80's music.  Dino loved the Lord and often wanted to go with Sandra and Kenny to church, but he wasn't physically able to.  He would listen to Mr. Phil on Sandra's phone or watch preaching on TV.

Dino fought a long hard battle the last three years.  He leaves behind his devoted and loving sister, Sandra, niece Briana, great nieces, Shyla and Jada, and great nephew, Ryland, that he loved with all his heart, unconditionally, aunts, Ellen Duff, Phoebe Knowles, cousins, and many friends, very special friends Ernie and Molly Dixon and a wealth of knowledge.
