I was sad to learn of the passing of Wayne. What a guy!, You can insert your own Wayne Jones story here. He loved his family. He loved his wife, his kids, his mother, he loved Warsaw, James Kenan, ECU and the Green Bay Packers with passion. He loved my brother; giving the eulogy at his funeral. They are both laughing at my saying they loved one another. I hope Wayne’s family and friends take comfort in knowing they enjoyed watching the Packers beat the Bears Sunday night. My thoughts are with all who knew and loved Wayne.

My condolences to the family 🙏🏼❤️. Wayne will be sorly missed,he was like a second father to my son. ( Jimmie Glaspie) who loved him dearly. When Jay as we called him played football at James kenan and scored a touchdown, Wayne would attach the last name Jones to let everyone know that, that was his other son as well ❤️. He was one of a kind and will be missed.

I truly considered Wayne to be a friend. He was a very special person who knew how to enjoy life and had the children of North Carolina in his heart when he was charged to investigate for lead poisoning hazards. I know he will be missed. May God because of the promise and sacrifice that was made through Christ welcome him into his Kingdom.

I was sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. He was a good coworker. He truly cared about lead poisoned children and their families when investigating lead poisoning hazards in their homes while working in our state's Lead Program. He loved his family and spoke lovingly of them often. He was a good person and I know he will be missed.
