Rachel Wilma Tucker Boone

Warsaw - Rachel Wilma Tucker Boone 94, passed away, Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Genesis Healthcare in Mount Olive, NC.  Mrs. Boone was born December 22, 1924 in Wake County, NC to the late Willis Tucker and Blanche Sheron Tucker.  

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 26 in Community Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow the service in Devotional Gardens.  Visitation will be held 1:00 - 2:00 pm, Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Boone is survived by sons Jerry Preston Boone and wife, Rachel of Mount Olive, NC and Thomas Junior Boone and wife, Mayo of Warsaw, NC.  She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.  She is also survived by daughters-in-law Hattie Mae Boone (wife of Donald) and Ava Pate Boone (wife of Raymond).

Mrs. Boone was preceded in death by husband, Preston Ozzle Boone; sons, Donald Ray Boone and Raymond Earl Boone; an infant daughter, brothers, I H Tucker, Lucius Tucker and Tom Tucker; sister, Mary Allen Tucker, great grandchildren, Dallas Foss, John Henry Murray, Amy Boone, Dalton Shell, and great-great grandson, Timothy Mark Brewer, III.
