Norwood Delano Atkinson

Warsaw - Norwood Delano Atkinson, 85, passed away December 25, 2021 at his home.  Mr. Atkinson was born November 24, 1936 in Duplin County, NC to the late George Norwood Atkinson and Pauline Grady Atkinson.

A graveside service will be held 2:00p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2021 in Devotional Gardens, Warsaw, NC.

Mr. Atkinson is survived by son, Norwood D. Atkinson and wife, Sheri of Roseville, CA; daughters, Cynthia A. Leggett and husband, Huey of Louisana and Susan Garcia and husband, Patrick of Las Vegas; signifigant other,  Dora Moritz; brothers, Urbane Samuel Atkinson and wife, Jean of Greenville, SC and Douglas Atkinson and wife Helen of Sanford, FL; sister, Jeanette Raper and husband, Ken of Virginia Beach, VA and Linda Sue Acey of Richmond, VA; and three grandchildren, Ashley Lucia and husband, Zachary, Cassidy Atkinson, and Cheyenne Austin and husband, Jonathan.  

​In addition to his parents, Mr. Atkinson was preceded in death by wife, Betty Atkinson.
