 Rose Hill - Nell Ray “Barbara” White Hollingsworth, 71, of Rose Hill left this life for her heavenly home Tuesday morning, January 5, 2021 at her home. Barbara as she was called was born in Duplin County to the late Ellison and Akery Futrell White.
A graveside service will be held 3:00PM Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Fire Tower Rd. Rose Hill. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Gerald “Shorty” Hollingsworth of the home; son, Gary Wade Hollingsworth (Jessica Newmons); granddaughter, Sarah Mainor; great granddaughter Isabella Tadeo; brother, David E. White (Beverly); sisters, Carolyn W. Smith (Steve James), Doris Ann Kornegay (John), and Linda Foss (Jim). In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Quinn, Dorthy Garner and Louise Stroud; brothers, Otis White, Sr., Jimmy White and J. T. White and daughter in law Debbie Hollingsworth.
