Kenansville - Nathan Earl Whaley, 82, of Kenansville passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Vidant Duplin. Mr. Whaley was born March 29, 1936 in Duplin County to the late John Herman Whaley and Ella Williams Whaley.
A visitation will be held from 7 to 9 pm Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Monday, January 14, 2019 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens. Mr. Whaley is survived by wife, Dorothy B. Whaley of the home; daughters, Rebecca W. Green and husband, Vince of Kenansville, Ella Faye W. Smith and Significant Other, Rodney Turner of Pink Hill and Renay W. Rocha and husband Jose of LaGrange; grandchildren, Lee Blackburn, Valerie Green, Amie Branthoover, Patrick Green; great grandchildren, Hayden Cody, Makensie Blackburn, Mikel Cody, Emma Blackburn, Jenna Cody, Nathan Crumpler, and Ava Cody; sisters, Mary Lou Brock of Warsaw, Peggy Ann “Lottie” Houston of Kenansville and Betty Wallace and husband Dan of Albertson.
