 Wallace - Margaret Elaine Jackson Blount, 91, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023. Mrs. Blount was born February 15, 1931 in Duplin County, NC to the late Sherman and Laney Cummings Jackson.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Community Funeral Home in Rose Hill, NC. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Teachey Baptist Church in Teachey, NC, with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Blount is survived by daughters, Miriam Blount of Wallace and Esta Lynne Blount of Rose Hill; two grandchildren, Jonathan Worley and Jamie Hanchey Staradumsky and husband, Andy two great grandchildren, Hadlee and Lainee Staradumsky and brother, Lynn Jackson and Jasie of Fancy Gap, VA In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blount was preceded in death by husband, Rev. Larry Blount; brothers, Horace, Joe, Calvin, and Ralph Jackson and sisters, Emily Coble, Mae Raynor, and Annie Lou Justice.
