 Kenansville - Lynda Sue Logan Bowden, 82, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at her home. Lynda was born November 12, 1940 Cleveland County, NC Lawrence and Helen Cornwell Logan.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 15, 2023 in Golden Grove Cemetery, Kenansville, NC. She is survived husband, James Nicholas Bowden of the home; daughters, Helene Marie King and Michael Hiner of Cross Junction VA, Laura King of Bangor, Maine, Jennifer Nicole Bowden, and Katherine Shaver Bowden both of Kenansville; six grandchildren, Javier Nicholas King, Kayla Elizabeth Jacobs and husband, Teal, Logan Kohl Edwards, Ivey Grace Bowden, Kenneth Nicholas Grady, Kaitlan Noel Smith; three great grandchildren, Theodore Strickland, Avery Jacobs and Chole Jacobs. She is also survived by brothers, Larry Logan and Mark Padick of Chapel Hill and Lane Logan and Donna; sisters Mary Helen Tate of Kings Mountain and Sally Carpenter of Anderson, SC.
