Louella Futrell Whaley

Louella Futrell Whaley, 82, passed away Monday morning, November 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.  Louella was born June 7, 1939 in New Hanover County, NC to the late Robert and India Shephard Futrell.  

Visitation will be held 7-9:00 pm, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Community Funeral Home in Rose Hill.  A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at United Fellowship Church in Magnolia.  Burial will follow the service in the Whaley Cemetery in Beulaville.

She is survived by son, Jimmy Whaley of Rose Hill; three grandchildren, John Harper, Elijah Whaley, and Juan Tamymo, brother J D Futrell and wife, Frances of Wallace, sister, JoAnn Cole of Rose Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Louella was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Love Whaley.
