Johnny Carlton

​Warsaw - Johnny Carlton, 71, died Wednesday January 2, 2019 at Vidant Duplin Hospital. Mr. Carlton was born May 7, 1947 in Duplin County, NC to Ward House Carlton and Mildred Gurley Carlton.

Visitation will held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Duplin County Club, with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will conclude the service in Devotional Gardens.

Mr. Carlton is survived by wife, Connie A. Carlton of the home; son, Mitchell Ron Carlton and wife, Brooke of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Leigh Ann Carlton of Warsaw; four grandchildren, Summer Michelle Carlton, D J Morrisey, Kaylin Carlton Lewis and husband, Garrett, and Ashleigh Parkin. He is also survived by brother, William Rex Carlton of Warsaw; and sister, Debbie Baker and husband, George of Warsaw.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Carlton was preceded in death by son, Michael Carlton, brother, Henry Carlton and step-brother, Bobbie Bizzell.
