Jessie Daniel Jones

Warsaw - Jessie Daniel Jones, 72, of Warsaw passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Vidant Duplin.  Mr. Jones was born in Duplin County November 7, 1946 to the late Willie Leon Jones and Mattie Pearl Taylor Jones.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service in Devotional Gardens.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw.

Mr. Jones is survived by wife, Gertrude Jones of the home; sons, Wayne Kornegay of Warsaw, Donald Kornegay (Rhonda) of Hallsville, and Jessie Daniel “J. D.” Jones of Magnolia; daughter,
Kathleen Register (Kenneth) of Warsaw; brother, Willie Melvin Jones of VA; step brothers, Douglas Ezzell (Rosa) of MD and Linwood Ezzell of TN; sister, Joyce Jones of Garner; grandchildren Donna Sue Register, Crystal Kornegay, Bradley Wayne Kornegay (Lauren), Donald Kornegay, Jr., Amber Kornegay, Kayla Griffin, Tiffany Griffin, Hallie Jones, Braxton Jones, Ken Register (Katherine) Casey Register (Amanda) Ashley R. Myrick (Kevin) and step grandson, Jay Lanier; great grandchildren, Toby Pender, Isabelle Pender, Emily Grace Register, Leia Holland, Asher Kornegay, Braden Fountain, Hannah Register, Adyson Register, Raegan Register, Anna Myrick, and Carson Myrick.
