Beyond the joy of knowing Shirley and being blessed by her friendship, there were things she taught me as I watched her live a godly life, walking with grace, peace and faith in her Lord. I will miss Shirley in our Sunday school class and our little chats on Wednesday night about our grandchildren and our gardens. Such a lovely lady. To her family, my prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time-Prayers of comfort and strength as you face the days ahead putting your trust in the Lord whom Shirley so faithfully served. God Bless You Brenda Fowler

Ms. Shirley was a very sweet and Godly lady. She always had a warm smile for everyone. She loved the Lord and was not afraid to show it. I know she is rejoicing now. My prayers are with her family, because I know she was their rock, and her greatest desire was for them to know the Lord, also. She loved them all dearly.

I had only known Ms. Shirley for about a year but learned so much from her. I too shall miss her in our Sunday School class and always seeing her and Ms. Marilyn together at church. Her smile radiated a quiet confidence and her life reflected a commitment to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To her family - God is a very present help in your time of need.
