James Ray Scott

Warsaw - James Ray Scott, 73, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.  Mr. Scott was born March 3, 1946 in Duplin County, NC to Durwood W. Scott and Lena Grace Phillips Scott.  

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a. m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Community Funeral Home Chapel, Warsaw, NC.  Burial will follow the service in Pinecrest Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a. m. at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw, Inc.

Mr. Scott is survived by sisters, Nancy Scott Williford, Dr. Shelby Scott Chadwick, and Patricia Scott Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Scott was preceded in death by brother, David Scott.

All service will be held at the funeral home or grave site.
