James Lee Pope

Wallace - James Lee Pope, 72, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Pope was born June 8, 1949 in Sampson County to the late David and Inez McClenny Pope.

A graveside service service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Devotional Gardens of Warsaw.

Mr. Pope is survived son, Andy Pope and wife, Kellie of Beulaville; grandchildren, Karlie Pope and Raegan Pope; great grandchildren, Kenslie Mobley and Olivia Mobley; sister, Gloria "Jean" Melton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

​In addition to his parents, Mr. Pope, was preceded in death by wife, Martha Phipps Pope; daughter, Robin Lee Pope; brothers Marvin Pope, Frank Pope, and David "Junior" Pope, Jr.; and sister, Joyce Kelly.
