 Warsaw - Ivey Russell Eason, 70, of Warsaw, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at his home. Russell was born March 6, 1954 in Sampson County, NC to the late Ivey Eason and Ena Mae Foster Eason.
A service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw. Russell is survived by his wife, Crystal Eason; son, Dail Eason and wife, Meridith Brown Eason; step son, Shawn Michael Brown; step daughter, Michelle Catherine Brown; and two grandchildren, Fallon Lanier and Willow Brown Eason; brother, Robert and sisters, Lorrita and Joyce. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a veterans charity of choice.

I am so sorry to hear this. Russell was a mighty fine man and I know him and Ruth are up there fishing and Russell and his dad are flounder gigging. I lost his number when my phone went out and home phone quit too, must have been a reason both quit at about the same time. Got me a flip phone and if you all want to call me I would love to hear from some of you. 910-853-5403 anytime. I just decided to go on my computer and look up Variety Bobcat service and saw it was closed so I thought he had finally retired. So decided to look him up and shocked to read this, sooo sad. But him and Ruth are happy now that they are together once again. I miss Ruth so much, it gets tough to go sometimes when I go to grave.But knowing she is with with her Mom and Dad makes me get through the tuff times.
