Geraldine Chestnutt Henderson Sholar

Pin Hook – Geraldine Chestnutt Henderson Sholar, 79, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Sholar was born July 31, 1941 in Duplin County, NC to the late Clement Jack Chestnutt and Macy Blizzard Chestnutt.

Mrs. Sholar is survived by her husband, Braxton Lawton Sholar of the home; sons, Elvin Dale Henderson and wife, Mary of Texas, Scott Henderson and wife, Barbara of Wallace, Christopher Joseph Henderson and wife, Maylene of Dunn; daughter-in-law, Susan Henderson of Dunn; son-in-law, Larry Jones of Dunn; step-sons, J B Sholar and wife, Linda of Hallsville, Robert Sholar and wife, Wanda Mobley; step-daughters, Linda S. Stewart and husband, Danny, Donna S. Albertson and husband, Kent of Beulaville, Carol S. Davis and husband, Leon of Wallace; sisters Annette Gurley of Goldsboro and Frances Mitchell and husband, Thomas of Harrells. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren, fifty-four great grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Sholar was preceded in death by husband, Ivey Elvin Henderson; son, Kenny Henderson, and daughter, Sheran Dean Jones.

A graveside service will be held 11:00a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw, NC.
