Edward Earl Whaley

​Warsaw - Edward Earl Whaley, 69, passed away early morning Monday, July 18, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.  Mr. Whaley was born June 1, 1953 in Duplin County to the late Edward and Louise Herring Whaley.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 21 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow the funeral in Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro, NC.

Mr. Whaley is survived by brother, Michael Whaley and wife, Nancy of Warsaw, NC; sisters, Martha Ann Byrd of Warsaw, Annette Sullivan and husband, J W of Mount Olive, NC and Velma Gautier and husband, David of Albertson; several nieces and nephews, Jenny Wynn and husband, TJ, Heather Hobbs and husband, Bryan, Joey Byrd, William Sullivan, Eddie Gautier, James Allen Gautier and wife Alexis, and James Whaley; and eight great nieces and three great nephew. 

A special thank you to Mrs. Martha Byrd and Joey Byrd for all the love, special care and attention they gave to Earl during his declining health.
