Clarence Melvin Harris

Warsaw - Clarence Melvin Harris, 74, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Mr. Harris was born September 27, 1944 to Fannie Powell Harris Montgomery and the late Clarence Peter Harris.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw, Inc., with burial to follow in Devotional Gardens, Warsaw, NC. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Harris is survived by wife, Betty Matthis Harris of the home; daughters, Shannon Schaefer and husband, Tom of Richmond, VA; Kim Dixon and husband, Kurt of Kenansville, Susan Frederick and husband, Matt of Kenansville, Hiedie Stroud and husband, Dinico of Clinton, Angel Anderson and husband, Tim of Daytona Beach, FL; brother, James Harris and wife, Odette of Warsaw; thirteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

​In addition to his father, Mr. Harris was preceded in death by daughter, Sharon Young.
