Six years ago, Charlie almost left us with acute aortic dissection. Thankfully, God chose to allow us to keep him, for which we have been so grateful. Charlie has lived his life to the max these last few years. With the loss of all but a little of his vision, he adapted with the help of his wife Kay, family, and his amazing friends. He continued with fishing, hunting, and attempts at golf. He loved his family, friends, good stories, jokes, laughter, and always sports -Go Heels- and the occasional cocktail!
He is survived by Kay, his wife of 31 years, sons Jason and Joshua (Sarah), grandsons Andrew and Cameron (Nicki, their mom), brother Alan (Toni), sister Laura, and brother-in-law Bill (Carol). Charlie is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and those amazing friends.
