Carolyn Jewel Cavenaugh

Wallace - Carolyn Jewel Cavenaugh, 80, of Wallace passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Ms. Cavenaugh was born in Duplin County, November 30, 1938 to the late Walter Guy Cavenaugh and Avis Pearl Batts Cavenaugh.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Community Funeral Home Chapel of Rose Hill. A visitation will follow the service. Burial will be held 11:00am Monday, February , 2019 at the Henderson Family Cemetery at Pin Hook.

Ms. Cavenaugh is survived by brother, Leamon Cavenaugh and wife, Mildred of Wallace; sisters-in-law Joyce Cavenaugh and Shirley Cavenaugh of Wallace; nieces and nephews, Timothy Cavenaugh and wife, Sheila, and Nenia DeFrancis and husband, Donny all of Wallace, Vickie Futral and husband, Mike of Wilmington, Lori Smith and husband, Clifton of Rocky Point, Glen Cavenaugh and wife, Janet and Michelle Bradshaw all of Wallace; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Cavenaugh was preceded in death by brothers, Guy Cavenaugh and Gene Cavenaugh; nephews, Wayne Cavenaugh and Mitchell Cavenaugh.
