Robert Amos Blanton

Burgaw - Robert Amos Blanton, 84, passed away at his home Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Robert was born March 31, 1940 in Duplin County, NC to the late Percy G. Blanton and Annie Mae Brinson Blanton.

Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 pm Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Community Funeral Home in Rose Hill. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, September 6, 2024 at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill.

Mr. Blanton is survived by daughter, Ann Howard; granddaughter, Madison Howard; brother, Graham Blanton; and loyal friend, Jamie Taylor and wife, Lisa and their children, Jessica Taylor Byrd, Tiffany Taylor Hernandez, and Jennifer Taylor.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Blanton was preceded in death by sister, Ann Blanton Lawson.
