Magnolia - Anthony O'Brian "Tony" Davis, 47, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 at home. Mr. Davis was born April 6, 1977 in Pender County, NC. Tony was preceded in death by mother, Deborah Sue Herring Davis Howard.

Visitation will be held 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Community Funeral Home in Rose Hill. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Community Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow the service in Rose Hill Cemetery.

​Tony is survived by his dad, Billy Howard and wife, Darlene; daughters, Ashley Davis, DeAndria Davis, Brianna Davis, and Katherine Davis; brothers, Jonathan Howard and Hilary of Warsaw and Jason Howard of Magnolia; sister, Kayla Price and Alex of Magnolia; special nieces and nephews, Kale, Jaycee, and Lindsey of the home; special friend, Sallie Davis; nieces and nephews, Bailey, Carmen, Katie, Drew, Olivia, Emmitt, Brenin; and great neice, Vaylynn.

Mr. James Howard Cottle, Jr. of Rose Hill, NC died on September 2, 2024.

James Howard, Jr. (Buddy) was born on June 19, 1938 in Duplin County to the late James Howard Cottle and Lerleane Wallace Cottle. James was a veteran and a graduate of Atlantic Christian College and post graduate work at N. C. State.

James is survived by one sister, Kathryn Cottle Honeycutt of Fayetteville, NC and his nephew James Michael Honeycutt (Martha) of Stanley, NC.

​A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Rose Hill Baptist Church, Rose Hill, NC with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior.

Wallace - Annette Rose Casteen, 84, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Wallace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Mrs. Casteen was born August 19, 1940 in New Hanover County, NC to the late James Robert Rose and Sarah Annette Heater Rose.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 5, 2024 in Rockfish Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

​In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by husband, William "Bill" Casteen. She is survived by two cousins, Susan Carter and K T Jackson.
